E-mailing images, graphics, & copy is acceptable as long as NO E-MAIL COMPRESSION is allowed during transfer and all digital files are at 300dpi, saved at MAXIMUM quality in jpg, tiff or pdf formats. You may also burn to CD and mail with rough layout.

Quality of self-scanned images and advertiser-provided files is often inadequate, so you may prefer to mail the photo for SBQ's targeted scanning. All photos will be returned unharmed. Please do not send copies or negatives; do not cut or tape photos. Color or B&W are acceptable. Please send all materials with layout in a single mailing and not piecemeal.

To Prepare Your Own Ad
(no discounts for camera-ready ads)
Send Camera ready ads via snail mail on disk and include hard copy at actual size, OR email files as an attachment at full resolution with NO compression as JPG, High Resolution PDF or TIFF. Build ads in greyscale or RGB as dictated, at 300 dpi resolution and final file size of 2-4M per page. Build to the exact measurements in the Dimensions & Rates table. Ads built in Microsoft Word or Publisher are not acceptable.
